The O2


The O2 is the world' biggest dome in south-east London. Old name is Millennium Dome. This dome is going to used as a venue of World Gymnastics Championships in 2009 and of London Olympic in 2012. This dome was built in 2000, but it closed beacause there are a lot of problems to hold exhibit. After that, it reopened in 2005. Construction of this dome is very strange. 12 masts Which is on the roof is symbolic of function of Greenwich Mean Time.

Royal Greenwich Observatory


There are several famous building in Greenwich park. That is Royal Greenwich Observatory and National Maritime Museum. Royal Greenwich Observatory was commisioned in 1675byu king Charles II. There is Shepherd gate clock on wall outside the gate of Royal Greenwich Observatory. Shephered gate clock is 24-hour clock.

Greenwich Park


Greenwich Park is a former hunting park in Greenwich and one of the largest single green spaces in south east London. It covers 183 acres (0.7 km2) and is part of the Greenwich World Heritage Site. The view of Greenwich Park is wonderful because we can see over the River Thames, Isle of Dogs and the City of London. The park is open from 06:00 for pedestrians all year round and closes at dusk.

North Woolwich Old Station Museum


North Woolwich Old Station Museum is a small railway museum in East London. It is built at North Woolwich railway station.The museum building was a part of the Great Eastern Railway and was abandoned for many years until it opens as a museum in 1984. Admission is free and it opens only Saturday and Sunday between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. we can see locomotives, carriages, models, railway memorabilia and a reconstructed 1920s ticket office at there.

Shoreditch

Shoreditch is an area of London within the London Borough of Hackney. It is a built-up part of the inner city immediately to the north of the City of London. Shoreditch has, since around 1996, become a popular and fashionable part of London. Often become conflated with neighbouring Hoxton, the area has been gentrification and more expensive in the past twenty years, with accompanying rises in property prices.

Dvid Beckham


Beckham was born at Whipps Cross University Hospital in Leytonstone, London in 2 May 1975. Leytonstone is an area of East London and part of the London Borough of Waltham Forest. It is a high density suburban area. He plays at Major League Soccer's Los Angeles Galaxy and is also a member of the England national team. His position is MF.

He has twice been runner-up for FIFA World Player of the Year, and in 2004 was the world's highest-paid footballer.
